Weddings

Better than
a third tier

Nobody has ever queued for fruit cake. Doughnuts get eaten, they get photographed, and they do not need anybody standing behind a table with a knife for half an hour.

Four ways couples do it

Favours

One boxed per place setting, tied and labelled. People take them home and remember whose wedding it was.

Late night

Brought out at ten when the buffet has gone and everyone has decided they are hungry again.

The morning after

Boxes dropped to wherever the wedding party is staying. Quietly the most appreciated thing we do.

Where we travel

We deliver free within about 45 minutes of the bakery, which covers most of South Wales. Further out a mileage fee may apply — we will always confirm it in writing before you commit to anything.

Questions we get

Can doughnuts replace the wedding cake?
Plenty of couples do exactly that. A tiered stack cuts like a cake for the photographs and then feeds everyone without anyone having to slice and plate two hundred portions.
When do you set up?
During the turnaround, usually while your guests are at the drinks reception. We need about forty minutes and somewhere out of direct sun.
Will they still be fresh in the evening?
They are fried the morning of your wedding, never the day before. They are at their best in the first several hours, which is why the evening do is the right slot for them rather than a mid-afternoon set up.
Do you hold dates?
Once a deposit is paid, yes. Summer Saturdays go first, so if you have a date it is worth asking early even if the guest count is still a guess.
Can you match our colours?
Glazes and toppings, yes, within reason. Bold colours work, very pale and very precise shades are harder. We will be honest about what will actually look right rather than promise a swatch match.

Is your date free?

Send us the date and the venue. We will tell you straight away whether we can do it, and roughly what it costs.
